The new Princeton High School auditorium and arts spaces, known as
the Princeton Performing Arts Center (PPAC), serves as home to all
of the Princeton public schools' performing arts programs. Community
organizations also use the auditorium and drama room, enabling
students to hear master classes and professional rehearsals.
The PPAC has an array of professional-quality spaces including two
instrumental rooms, three ensemble practice rooms, several small
practice rooms, a drama room for small, experimental productions, a
music library, a construction lab for set design, lighting and
related vocational experience, and backstage dressing, costume, and
prop storage rooms.
The
Princeton Education Foundation’s Take A Seat campaign has provided
enhancements such as concert-quality pianos, a choral shell, an
orchestra pit cover, and upgrades to the acoustics. Having
successfully completed the first phase of this campaign, additional
funds from this undertaking will be used to continue the mission of
PEF and to support K - 12 programs and initiatives in all six
Princeton Regional Schools.

PRS Superintendent, Judith Wilson, and the PRS Board of Education
made the 770 seats in the new auditorium available for sponsorship
and dedication.
To date more than 400 seats have been sold, but there are still
seats available at every level from $250 to $1000. A commemorative
plaque is placed on each sponsored seat.
The auditorium has been named the Trego-Biancosino Hall in honor of
William R. Trego, long-time PHS Choir Director and the
late Anthony
J. Biancosino, dedicated PHS Studio Band Director, at the request of
two major benefactors, but several other naming opportunities are
still available for individuals, organizations or businesses. Please
contact us if you are interested in sponsoring a room.
Thus far, individuals, corporations, non-profits, clubs,
organizations and families have supported Take A Seat. Your
participation in this campaign will benefit the students and
citizens of Princeton for years to come. Don’t delay—sponsor your
seat or room now, before they are all taken!
